Penn State’s second touchdown of the 2023 season wasn’t as exciting as its first, but it was much needed.
A drive after West Virginia scored to tie the game at seven, Penn State responded with a 10-play, 81-yard, 4:59 drive to reclaim the lead at 14-7.
Nick Singleton capped off the drive with his first touchdown run of the year, going in from two yards out on first and goal out of Penn State’s famous T formation
Although it lacked the style of Drew Allar’s 82-yard pass to KeAndre Lambert-Smith, which opened the scoring, it put Penn State back in front.
