Penn State: The Nittany Pod Joins Nittany Sports Now

Penn State fans, Nittany Sports Now is excited to announce a partnership with The Nittany Pod.

NSN will be sharing episodes of The Nittany Pod to its YouTube Channel and site.

The idea for Nittany Pod came about two years ago. Cousins Alex Shaffer and Aaron Pearson talked about Penn State all the time and thought it would be cool to record these conversations and put it out there for people to listen to.

The two paired up with @PSU_TK to start the pod.

As Pearson described it, “We’re just 3 avid fans that have fun and enjoy talking about the school we love.”

Alex Shaffer (Blue and White): “
I’m 30 years old, have been a PSU fan my entire life, have had season tickets since 2019 and could count on 2 hands how many home games I’ve missed since 2016. My family is all PSU fans I guess is why I became one as well. But it’s easily my favorite place to be come fall Saturday’s!

My first PSU game was the one against ND in 2007. I fell in love with the atmosphere at a young age.”

TK (PSU_TK): You can put me down as the former Division III All-American who tweets to much.

Aaron Pearson (AP): “I am a 2017 graduate of the Ohio Media School, currently living in Central PA with hopes of a career in Sports Coverage. I have done everything from color commentary, sideline coverage and sideline camera work, to radio shows, podcasts and graphics. A keen eye for something different with the drive to go above and beyond for what I love! Born into Penn State fandom, it’s a dream to do these things for Penn State athletics.”
