In his four years as Penn State’s starting quarterback, Sean Clifford had a lot of good and not-so-good moments.
The first half of his first preseason game with the Green Bay Packers was no exception.
After coming in for starter Jordan Love, Clifford went 15-for-20 for 193 yards and a touchdown pass to Tyler Davis in the last minute of the first half.
There were some negatives, however. Clifford threw two interceptions, including one that was returned for a 43-yard touchdown by Cincinnati’s Tycen Anderson.
But overall, it wasn’t a bad half for the Penn State man, who added a 13-yard run to help set up his first touchdown pass.
The Packers lead the Bengals, 21-16, at the break.
