The “Cincinnati Kid,” as Fox college football play-by-play man Gus Johnson called him, has come home, and its been a good reunion so far.
Former Penn State QB Sean Clifford, currently Green Bay’s backup, made his preseason debut Friday night in Cincinnati against the Bengals.
On Clifford’s first drive, he led the team on a 8-play, 79-yard scoring march, ending on a 1-yard touchdown run by Tyler Goodson.
For his part, Clifford went 4-for-5 for 52 yards.
