All 105 is a Nittany Sports Now series profiling each Penn State football player. Here’s a profile of linebacker Kobe King

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 246 pounds

Hometown: Detroit, Mich

Before Penn State; King, a Detroit, Michigan native, played with his twin brother Kalen, now a defensive back for Penn State, at Detroit Cass Technical School. Like Kalen, Kobe was a three-sport athlete as Cass where he also wrestled and ran track.

By the time he left high school, King was a three-star recruit according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He and his brother committed to Penn State April 10, 2020.

2022: King Appeared in 13 games last season, Producing 41 tackles (20 solo). He also added four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown at Rutgers Nov. 19.

Where he stands: With King’s impressive performance and playing time during the 2022 season, it’s hard not to see him having a leg up in an excellent linebacker depth chart.
