Penn State football has extended an offer to Sincere Edwards (2024), a four-star DL from Wekiva High School in Apopka, Florida whose been committed to UCF since August.
Edwards tweeted this Friday afternoon.

He was the first player to commit to UCF’s 2024 class.
Along with PSU and UCF, the 6-foot-2, 240-pounder has offers from schools such as Arkansas, Cincinnati, Colorado, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Michigan State, NC State, Ole Miss, Pitt and Utah.
Edwards committed to UCF before his junior season.
He finished 2022 with 17 sacks, 27 tackles for loss and 78 total tackles. The year before that, he had 10 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and 62 total tackles.
Penn State isn’t the only Power Five school in Pennsylvania interested in Edwards.
Edwards has an official visit to Pitt scheduled for the weekend of June 22. Pitt and its defensive line coach, Charlie Partridge, have developed a reputation for churning out defensive lineman.
Most recently, Calijah Kancey went with the 19th overall pick in this years draft to the Buccaneers.
Before Partridge became Pitt’s defensive line coach, Aaron Donald played there. The Ram he’s now one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history.
Edwards hasn’t visited Penn State yet and doesn’t have an official visit set up.
Penn State’s 2024 Class is currently 14 strong, ranking No. 7 in the nation according to 247. Of those 14, zero are defensive lineman. Penn State has three defensive linemen: Four-stars Joseph Mupoyi (St. Thomas More), Jameial Lyons (Philly) and three-star Tyriq Blanding (Middle Village, NY).
