Former Penn State QB Will Levis Has Second Best Odds To Get Selected With Top Pick In NFL Draft

Will Levis

Former Penn State and Kentucky quarterback Will Levis has had his stock skyrocket regarding his chances of becoming its top pick in Thursday night’s NFL Draft.

Levis now has the second-best odds to become the top pick after an anonymous post from Reddit that claims that the Carolina Panthers brass told Levis and his friends and family that he would be the top pick.

Alabama quarterback Bryce remains with the best odds to go the Carolina Panthers at number one with the odds at-1200, and Levis leapfrogs Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud at +550 to become the top overall pick after he had odds as low as +2500 as recently as last week, according to Ceasars Sportsbook.

Levis is the favorite to be selected to become the second overall pick to the Houston Texans in this weekend’s draft.

Scouts and many team executives have Levis as the fifth-rated quarterback on the draft board after Young, Stroud, Florida’s Anthony Richardson, and Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker.

Levis is an intriguing prospect who although he did not have the production the past couple of seasons, has the prototypical size, arm strength, and mobility that scouts have given him compared to Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

Levis, along with Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. will be in attendance in Kansas City Thursday for the first found of the NFL Draft.
