Guarnera spoke about Penn State head coach James Franklin and his past and future visits to campus to Chris Boyle of

“I’ve been to Penn State twice, once for the White Out and once for a camp. I’ll be going back a third time and plan to have any remaining questions questioned. State College is a cool area, and I like it’s a bit secluded. James Franklin signed a long-term deal (signed through 2031), and that’s an insurance that he will be there for most if not all of my college career.”

Guarnera will announce his commitment April 28.
