The NFL Draft is so close, yet so far away for Penn State’s hopefuls.

Thirteen of the school’s now-former players worked out in front of NFL head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts, general managers ETC. at Penn State’s Pro Day Friday, March 24, inside Holuba Hall.

“I’d say that’s the most stressful thing. Just waiting, the anticipation. Even today. I’m just bad with that. I like to just get going, get into it. But yeah, just waiting, sitting around, especially at the combine… it can be frustrating, but you try not to let it get to you.”

Scurggs and his draft-bound teammates don’t have too much more waiting to do. The NFL Draft is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, through Saturday, April 29, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Hear more from Scruggs, as well as Sean Clifford, Ji’Ayir Brown, Parker Washington, Mitchell Tinsley, Brenton Strange, Jonathan Sutherland and Nick Tarburton here.
