Penn State To Get Official Visit From 2024 3-Star RB Duke Watson

Most recruiting news at this time of the year is dealing with players making unofficial visits to various programs.

However, some players are already looking ahead to the summer and choosing where they want to go for official visits.

Duke Watson is one of those players and he has scheduled a trip to State College to learn more about James Franklin’s program.

Watson tells Nittany Sports Now that he’s scheduled an official visit to Penn State, which will take place June 9-11.

Watson is a 6’1″, 185-pound running back from Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Georgia.

Rivals.com rates Watson as a 3-star recruit with Power Five offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, NC State and Vanderbilt.

Watson becomes the second player that Nittany Sports Now has confirmed to be making an official visit that week, joining 4-star safety Vaboue Toure.
