Big Recruiting Weekend For Penn State Football

It’s shaping up to be a big recruiting weekend for James Franklin and his program as more and more recruits are announcing their plans to travel to State College.

Earlier this morning, NSN told you about a visit Penn State will be getting from a 4-star quarterback and now we have more visitors to report on.

Four-Star QB Recruit Bekkem Kritza to Visit Penn State This Weekend


2026 Unrated HB D’Antae Sheffey (6-0”, 190-pounds) a local recruit from State College High School in Pennsylvania. Hasn’t been offered by Penn State yet, but has offers from Akron, Cincinnati, Kent State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Temple, Toledo and Virginia Tech.

2024 3-star DL Aaris Bethea (6-2″, 250-pounds) from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York. Bethea currently holds offers from Pitt, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Maryland, Buffalo, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

2024 4-star DE Caden Brown (6’3″, 210-pounds) from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York. Brown currently holds offers from Penn State, Boston College, Buffalo, Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple and West Virginia.

2026 athlete David Rodriguez (6’1″, 165-pounds) from Providence, Rhode Island. Rodrigeuz holds early offers from Penn State, Baylor, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Pitt, Purdue, South Carolina, Syracuse, TCU, Virginia Tech and West Virgina.

2024 Cameron Chmura (6’3″, 290-pounds) from North Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh. Chmura holds offers from Central Michigan, James Madison, Ohio U., and a number of Ivy League schools.
