Jalen Pickett is quite good at basketball, and he led Penn State to a much-needed 93-81 win over Illinois Tuesday night at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Pickett finished the night with 41 points and eight assists.
It was the first time a Penn State player scored more than 40 points since 1961.
That’s back when Joe Paterno was still an assistant football coach.
