Penn State completed their third Junior Day this past weekend and are hoping to add a big-time player because of it.
2025 4-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews visited Penn State over the weekend and plans on making his college decision later this morning.
No word on who Matthews will select but he tells Nittany Sports Now that his finalists are Penn State, Ohio State, Miami, Georgia and Rutgers.
Matthews (6’6″, 300-pounds) is from Toms River North High School in Tom River, New Jersey. Rivals.com currently rank him as the No. 77 overall player in the Class of 2025, while the recruiting service, On3, has him as the No. 42 player, the No. 3 offensive tackle and the No. 1 sophomore in New Jersey.

Penn State doesn’t have a commitment yet for the Class of 2025, while they currently have two for 2024: 4-star offensive tackle Cooper Cousins and 4-star linebacker Anthony Speca.
Matthews is scheduled to make his announcement official at 11 AM.
