According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has been linked to the open Indianapolis Colts head coaching position.
The report says he has not had an interview with the Colts scheduled, although he had talked to Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper, and he will interview with the Denver Broncos later on this week.
Glazer reported that the Broncos will give him a “ludicrous” offer if ownership feels it’s the right fit.
Glazer thinks that Harbaugh to the Colts is unlikely and he will be coaching the Broncos in 2023, or he will be staying at Michigan for at least one more year.
Harbaugh was the coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-14, going 44-19-1, winning two division championships, went to three championship games, and advanced to Super Bowl XLVII.
On Friday, Michigan received a notice of allegations from the NCAA after the previously said on Thursday that he would most likely be staying at Michigan.
Harbaugh’s interview goes this week will be big in not only how Michigan will move forward, but the rest of the Big Ten.
