Last offseason, Penn State added to their wide receivers depth chart by picking up transfer wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley and they’re looking to help themselves at that position once again thru the transfer portal.
Wednesday night, the Nittany Lions staff extended an offer to South Florida transfer wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr.
Horn Jr., who was named to the American 2022 Football All-Conference Frist Team, announced his decision to transfer from South Florida on Tuesday.

This past season, Horn caught 37 passes for 551 yards and 3 touchdowns in 11 games. In 2 seasons at South Florida, Horn had 67 catches for 959 yards and 4 touchdowns.
At his next school, Horn will have two years of eligibility remaining.
At this point, the only wide receiver that Penn State is scheduled to lose is Tinsley, although there’s a chance Parker Washington decided to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.
