Penn State Class of 2023 OL commit J’ven Williams is the No. 1 offensive lineman and the No. 6 overall player in his class according to On3Sports’ latest On300 rankings.

Williams (6-foot-4, 285 pounds) is a five-star according to On3.

He’s a product of Wyomissing High School near Reading, Pennsylvania, and committed to Penn State in February.

Next to Williams, another Penn State OL commit, Alex Birchmeier, is the highest rated Penn State commit, coming in at No. 63.

Birchmeier (6-foot-5, 285 pounds), a four-star from Broad Run High School in Ashburn, Virginia, is rated higher in the consensus, at No. 45. A Penn State commit who had a big jump is Andrew Rappleyea. Rappleyea (6-foot-4, 235 pounds) went up nearly 77 spots and is now No. 80. The star from Millbrook, New York, who plays at the Massachusetts’ Milton Academy, is now the No. 2 tight end according to On3.

The fourth and final Penn State commit in the top 100 is King Mack, who stayed in the same spot as he was in the last rankings. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound, four-star safety from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, committed to Penn State in June. Rappleyea and Mack moved into the top 100 but Tony Rojas hasn’t moved in yet. Rojas (6-foot-2.5, 195 pounds) went down from 105 to 108. The four-star linebacker from Fairfax High School in Virginia is still one of Penn State’s top commits. Penn State’s top DL commit had a big jump from No. 170 to 125. Jameial Lyons, a 6-foot-5, 245-pound EDGE from Roman Catholic High School in Philly, is a four-star who committed to Penn State in April.

Elliot Washington moved down 12 spots. The four-star corner from Venice High School in Florida moved from No. 120 to No. 132. Washington (6-feet, 195 pounds) flipped from Alabama to Penn State in July.
