Former Penn State running Back Saquon Barkley is not only making a case for NFL Comeback Player of the Year, he is making a case for NFL Offensive Player of the Year and possibly MVP consideration with another great NFL performance in week 7. He rushed for 110 yards on 24 carries and added 25 receiving yards in New York Giants’ 23-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Barkley is second in the NFL in rushing yards behind Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns with 726 on the season.

Other Notable Week 7 performances from Penn State Alum:

Jaquan Brisker

Brisker snagged his first career interception off a pass from Mac Jones and recorded seven tackles as the Chicago Bears defeated the New England Patriots 33-14 on Monday Night Football.

Micah Parsons

Parsons recorded five tackles and a strip-sack fumble on Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff in the Dallas Cowboys 24-6 win over the Detroit Lions. He recorded a second sack, but they gave credit for the sack to Dorance Armstrong. See the proof below.
