Penn State will be looking to rebound from what happened at Michigan and will have that opportunity this Saturday as they host Minnesota for their annual Whiteout Game.
Home games for Penn State at Beaver Stadium always draws recruits but the Whiteout Game takes that to another level as the sidelines will be filled with top recruits from across the country.
One of the hundreds of players that will make the trip to State College will be 2024 4-star outside linebacker Jaylen Harvey.
Harvey (6’2″, 240-pounds) attends Quince Orchard High School in North Potomac, Maryland.
Rivals ranks Harvey as one of the Top 10 junior outside linebackers in the country along with being one of the Top 200 overall players. At this stage of his recruitment, Harvey holds offers from Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
Harvey isn’t a stranger to James Franklin’s program as he’s already made three unofficial visits previously, the most recent one being to the Northwestern game.
Penn State extended an offer to Harvey in April when he was on a visit.
At this point, NSN believes that Penn State is a heavy lean for Harvey.
Maryland is a place Penn State has been able to go into recently and get many highly rated recruits from like Dani Dennis-Sutton, Coziah Izzard, KJ Winston, Landon Tengwall, Curtis Jacobs and Zakee Wheatley.
