Every ‘College GameDay’ Panelist Picks Ohio State to Beat Penn State

Here’s what ESPN’s “College GameDay” crew thinks will happen in today’s clash between Penn State and Ohio State at Beaver Stadium.

Desmond Howard: The Ohio State offense is going to be a problem for Penn State’s defense. They’re explosive and they’re efficient. They have the most efficient offense in the entire FBS.

Pick: Ohio State

Pat McAfee: C.J. Stroud lost two top 10 wide receivers to the NFL, but he was able to create these new weapons with the Ohio State wide receivers. Marvin Harrison Jr. is elite. The Penn State secondary is going to have its hands full.

Pound for pound the best team in the country.

Pick: Ohio State

Guest Picker Stephen A. Smith: Unstoppable in the red zone. Penn State struggles with tackling.

“Penn State is going to lose this game considerably.”

Pick: Ohio State

Kirk Herbstreit: The defensive line for the Penn State Nittany Lions plays with a chip on their shoulders at home. P.J. Mustipher is a disruptor. The creativity of Manny Diaz will have an impact against Ohio State.

Penn State will keep it close, but Ohio State will pull it out in the second half.

Pick: Ohio State

Penn State and Ohio State will kickoff at noon.
