But plenty of fans are excited to see the five-star freshman from Medina, especially after Sean Clifford went 7-19 with 120 yards and no touchdowns.
Clifford has played in five of Penn State’s six games thus far, with the only exception coming in Penn State’s most recent game before Michigan, a 17-7 win over Northwestern Oct. 1.
Allar made his college debut opening night at Purdue when Clifford had to depart briefly in the third quarter.
Michigan leads Penn State, 34-17, with less than 10 minutes left.
