Penn State fans had plenty of thoughts after the team’s 44-31 loss to Ohio State at Beaver Stadium Saturday.
Sean Clifford turned the ball over four times, and fans weren’t too happy about that.
Penn State fought hard and had a lead in the fourth quarter, but as usual, Ohio State came out on top in the annual meeting for the 10th time in 11 years.
Here’s what the people Twitter had to say about it.
Thanks for everything Sean.
Time for Allar. #WeAre 🔵⚪️🦁

I don’t know if they will ever fully bench Clifford, but with two losses let’s at least start with a 50/50 snap count and go from there.

I have respect for Sean Clifford and appreciate everything he’s done at Penn State.
BUT Drew Allar HAS to start the rest of the year. It’s so important to get him starting/full-game experience before next season.

At some point, for a program with the money and recognition like Penn State, shouldn’t be satisfied with 10 win seasons, but also never being consistently on par with Michigan or Ohio State.

The worst part is Penn State played and really had a chance to win 3.5 quarters in.

It's difficult to beat a team like that with one turnover, let alone 4. Coach Diaz and the D did the best they could to keep it close. It's frustrating as all hell.

I suffered through a big 10 game just to watch Penn State choke. Worst brand of football in the country

After what this program has gone through, I’ll take 10-2 with a decent QB vs 8-4 every year.

Do you know something about Drew and Sean that the coaching staff doesn’t? They spend 50+ hours a week with them. Have you ever even spoken a word to either? I would have zero issue with Drew starting. My problem is that fans are demanding it.
