In his first game, former Penn State receiver Jahan Dotson caught his first NFL touchdown pass for the Washington Commanders.

Dotson hauled in a 7-yard pass from Washington QB Carson Wentz to give the Commanders a two-score lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second quarter.

Dotson was Washington’s first round pick (No. 16 overall) in this spring’s draft after one of the best careers of any receiver in Penn State history.

He left Penn State second in school history in receptions and fourth in yards, becoming an All-American in 2021.

Washington leads Jacksonville, 14-3 in the second quarter.
