Here are my college football rankings for Week 4 of the 2022 season.
This is how I see it, and anybody who disagrees is entitled to their opinion.
- Georgia— It didn’t look great against Kent State, but doesn’t change how dominated Georgia has been for the rest of the season
- Ohio State— Ohio State beat what might be a good Wisconsin team by 31 this week and has destroyed its last three opponents. The only close game the Buckeyes have played were against Notre Dame, who I think is a decent team aside from that awful loss to Marshall.
- Alabama— Almost losing to Texas keeps ‘Bama behind Ohio State but the Tide still control their destiny in the national championship race.
- Michigan— Jim Harbaugh’s team had a close one against Maryland after a pathetic non-conference slate came to an end. Michigan has games at Iowa and Indiana before its showdown with Penn State Oct. 15.
- Clemson— DJ Uiagalelei looked good against Wake Forest, and if he’s clicking, look out.
- Kentucky
- Tennessee
- NC State
- Oklahoma State
- Penn State— I don’t think Penn State is a national title contender just yet but not a lot of teams have two wins over Power Five opponents on the road through four games. Penn State does.
- Washington
- Ole Miss
- Oregon
- Utah
- Minnesota
- BYU
- Baylor
- Florida State
- Kansas State
- Oklahoma
- Pitt
- Wake Forest
- Texas A&M
- Kansas
- Arkansas
