Rivals.com has Class of 2023 receiver Edwin Joseph, a three-star recruit out of Hollywood, Florida, as a FutureCast prediction to Penn State.
Joseph is a 6-foot-0, 175-pound receiver out of Chaminade-Madonna Prep High School who has had 20 Division I offers and is the No. 94 player in Florida and the No. 80 wide receiver in the country according to 247Sports.
Last season as a junior, he caught 35 passes for 561 and four touchdowns as he helped the Lions to the Florida state championship. He had his breakout performance against Lakewood High school when he hauled in four passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. His efforts earned him a Sun Sentinel All-Broward honorable mention.
Penn State gave him an offer in August of last year and spoke about Penn State in his recruiting process with Rivals.com Contributing Writer Justin Garcia.
“I would say my relationship with Penn State is big, very big. You know we reach out to each other a lot not just on a football level but on a school and life level also. Coach (Ja’Juan) Seider, coach Slim (Chris Mahon and coach (Taylor) Stubblefield.”
Joseph also plays cornerback for Chaminade-Madonna and can also possibly be a contributor on special teams.
If Joseph were to commit, he would join Ejani Shakir and Carmelo Taylor in the wide receiver room for the 2023 recruiting cycle.
