Penn State is in his top eight list of schools, along with Alabama, Florida State, Jackson State, Kentucky, Pitt, Tennessee, and UCF. Anglin is the No. 84 recruit in Florida, the No. 37 safety, and the No. 413 overall recruit in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Anglin is a 6-foot-2, 184-pound safety who plays for Lake Wales High School. He played both offense and defense for Lake Wales, recording 83 tackles on defense. Anglin caught 24 passes for 358 yards and three touchdowns on offense for the Highlanders, who Florida Class 6A State Playoffs. He also plays basketball for Lake Wales.
Penn State gave Anglin an offer on February 24, not long after he was named the 2022 Defensive MVP at the National Combine during the week of the All-American Bowl but it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that his cousin is Los Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl safety, Derwin James.
If Anglin were to commit, he would join Elliot Washington, King Mack, and Conrad Hussey as Class of 2023 commits from Florida.
