**Penn State OL commit J’ven Williams and Wyomissing Area High School took care of business with a 49-0 season-opening win over Kennard-Dale.

Update (3:23 p.m.)

**St. Thomas beats St. Joseph’s, 48-37.

Update (2:08 p.m.)

**Three-star OL commit Anthony Donkoh, starting his senior season at Lightridge High School (Virginia), helped his team to a 68-6 win over Park View.

Update (11:38 a.m.)-

**Penn State quarterback commit Jaxon Smolik went 25/37 passing with 283 yards and two touchdowns for Dowling Catholic in its 38-24 loss to Southeast Polk.

Update (9:56 a.m.)

**St. Thomas Aquinas (FL), which features Penn State four-star DB commits King Mack and Conrad Hussey, takes on St. Joseph’s Prep at noon.

Update (9:50 a.m.)-

Penn State Class of 2023 commit J’ven Williams and Wyomissing open the 2023 season this afternoon at 1:30 against Kennard Dale.

Update (9:44 a.m)-

Four-star 2023 commit Carmelo Taylor caught six passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns last night for Patrick Henry High School (VA).

Patrick Henry fell to Brookville, 35-27.

Update (9:31 a.m.)-

**Penn State three-star Class of 2023 tight end commit Joey Schlaffer caught two touchdown passes and played a series at quarterback in Exeter Township’s 35-0 win over Daniel Boone.

He finished the night with four catches for 52 yards, rushed for 37 yards on three carries and picked up a sack on defense.

Update (9:28 a.m.)-

**Venice (FL) High School four-star DB Elliot Washington II, who committed to Penn State’s 2023 class in July, flipping from Alabama, had this interception against Miami Northwestern Friday night.

Unfortunately, Washington also had a key mistake, fumbling the opening kickoff of the second half, which led to a Miami Northwestern touchdown.

Venice fell, 32-26.

Update (9:06 a.m.)-

Tony Rojas, a four-star Penn State Class of 2023 linebacker commit from Fairfax High School in Virginia, also plays offense.

He does it quite well, too, scoring six touchdowns in the first half of Fairfax’s 52-14 win over Wakefield Friday night.
