**Penn State football extends an offer to 2024 3-star cornerback Jamir Benjamin from West Bloomfield, Michigan. Benjamin (5’10”, 165-pounds) received the offer from Anthony Poindexter and Terry Smith. Along with Penn State, Benjamin holds other Power Five offers from Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, Pitt, Purdue, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconson.

**Another big recruit will be in State College this weekend making an official visit. 2023 4-star cornerback Daniel Harris is making his official visit today through Sunday. Harris (6’2″, 180-pounds) is from Gulliver Prep High School in Miami, Florida and is ranked by Rivals.com as one of the Top 200 players in the Class of 2023. Along with Penn State, Harris holds offers from Cincinnati, Georgia, Jackson State, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Boston College, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Pitt, Rutgers, Central Florida and West Virginia. Harris has already made official visits to Georgia and Michigan.

**Penn State will have one current 2023 commitment making his official visit this weekend. DE Jameial Lyons will be taking his official visit and in fact, has already arrived in State College. Lyons is a 4-star defensive end from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lyons committed to Penn State on April 22, while also holding offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Nebraska, Pitt, Temple, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
