Ta’Mere Robinson, a Class of 2023 four-star recruit out of Brashear High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has narrowed his school choice down to three, and Penn State made the list.
Robinson told Adam Friedman, National Recruiting Analyst for Rivals.com in an interview Penn State is in the running along with Miami and Virginia Tech.

Robinson is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker that also plays basketball and track and field. He is the number one recruit in Pennsylvania, the No. 11 recruit at linebacker, and the No. 140 recruit in the nation. As of October, Robinson was ranked as high as the No. 59 overall recruit in the nation before he suffered a torn ACL and MCL.
What Robinson can bring to the table is the versitility to play the Will, Sam. And Mike linebacker positions. He can also line up as an edge rusher, safety, or slot corner. He has the size and speed to play almost any position on the back seven.
Rivals, 247Sports, and On3 sports all have him remaining in the state and joining Penn State, however, his recent official visits to Miami have the other two schools gaining ground.
That means that when Robinson makes his official visit this weekend June 17-19, the staff should do what they can to seal the deal on their first linebacker commit of the 2023 class.
