Stanton Ramil, a consensus four-star Class of 2023 recruit out of Alabaster, Alabama, has narrowed his school choice to eight, and Penn State made his list.
Penn State is in the mix with Auburn, Clemson, Michigan State, Mississippi State, North Carolina, and Pitt for the commitment of Ramil, who received 33 Division 1 Scholarship offers. Ramil visited Penn State earlier this month and received a scholarship offer.
I have been truly BLESSED to earn 33 Division 1 offers!!! After many months of visiting great schools, my list is narrowed down to 8 schools that I could call home for my college career… Thank You to ALL the coaches that recruited me! ”God is Great” pic.twitter.com/cUfQDWKqks

Ramil is a 6-foot-7, 310-pound offensive tackle from Thompson High school that helped the Warriors to a 13-1 record and an Alabama 7A State championship. He earned First-Team All-State in Alabama and Under Armor All-American honors in 2021. Ramil is the No 15 ranked recruit in Alabama, the No. 20 ranked offensive tackle, and the No. 216 overall recruit in the nation according to 247Sports.
Scouts Ramil possesses the ideal size to play the left tackle position at the power five college level, but he may be a better fit at right tackle. He is a functional athlete with great technique coming out of his stance in pass protection and also has the power to drive defenders off the line of scrimmage in the run game.
It is unknown when he will make his next official visit, but a commitment from Ramil would be a good way to get a recruit from SEC territory after 2023 offensive tackle Joshua Miller flipped his commitment from Penn State to Georgia earlier in the week.
