Joshua “Doogie” Miller, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound, three-star offensive lineman from Life Christian Academy in Virginia Heights, Virginia who committed to Penn State’s 2023 class in late-December of last year and publicly shut down his recruitment this February, has been offered by the University of Georgia.
Miller was the fifth player to commit to Penn State’s 2023 class and is one of four offensive lineman, along with Alex Birchmeier, J’ven Williams and Anthony Donkoh. Miller is also one of four Virginians committed to the Class of 2023, along with Birchmeier, Donkoh and ATH Mathias “Mega” Barnwell.
In February, Miller tweeted that his recruitment was “107% shutdown.” While the offer from Georgia doesn’t necessarily mean Miller is going anywhere, factors such as NIL and the fact that the Bulldogs are the defending national champions might make it an offer worth at least listening too.
