**Penn State has extended an offer to Jalen Thompson (2024), a three-star defensive back from Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida.
Thompson also has offers from Appalachian State, Iowa State, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri State, Nebraska, Purdue and West Virginia.

**Penn State has extended an offer to Brandon Jacob (2024), a four-star safety from FS Evans High School in Orlando, Florida.
Jacob has offers from more than 10 other schools, including Florida State, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina and Pitt.
Update (2:36 p.m.)-
**Penn State has offered Payton Pierce (2024), a four-star middle linebacker from Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas.
Pierce is the No. 1 MLB prospect in his class according to Rivals, and has more than 25 other offers from schools such as Oaklahoma, Arkansas, Baylor, Florida State and LSU. 247 Sports’ lone “Crystal Ball” projection has him committing to Oklahoma.

**Penn State football has offered Dejuan “Sparkplug” Lane (2024), a 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete from Gilman High School in Baltimore. Lane also has offers from Buffalo and Temple.

**Penn State football has extended an offer to Peyton “Big P” Joseph, a freshman offensive lineman from Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Georgia.
Joseph (2025) already has more than 10 offers, from schools such as Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Ohio State.
