**Nichols is a four-star defensive end from Oakdale High School in Ijamsville, Maryland. Penn State offered him in early January. He also has offers from Boston College, Maryland, Ole Miss, Pitt, Rutgers, Temple, Toledo and Virginia Tech.

Update (1:58 PM)—
**Penn State baseball didn’t finish the regular season on a high note. The Nittany Lions were swept at the hands of Illinois and didn’t finish the regular season with a winning record overall (25-27) or in the Big Ten (11-13). The good news for Penn State is that the Nittany Lions are going to the Big Ten tournament for the first time since 2012.

**McWartner is an eighth-grade offensive lineman from Cartersville, Georgia. He is 6-foot-3, 265 pounds and started a varsity game against a Georgia 6A school.
