**Jermaine Mathew’s recruiting plans may have changed today following some news that he received. Thursday afternoon, the 2023 3-star cornerback from Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio received an offer from Penn State. Mathews previously announced that he would be making his college decision on July 4, but does this offer change things? Mathews holds 30+ offers and has announced official visits to Cincinnati (June 3) and Pitt (June 24). Mathews received the news of the offer from Terry Smith.

**Penn State extends an offer today to freshman defensive lineman Antonio Henley (6’0″, 270) from Gaither High School in Tampa, Florida. This becomes the third Power Five offer (Maryland, Syracuse) for Henley, who received the news from Terry Smith.

**A third player from Wharton HS gets an offer today from Terry Smith, this one going to 2024 athlete De’andre Newton, who also has previous offers from Syracuse, UMass, Boston College and Arizona.

**A second player from Wharton High School in Tampa picks up a Penn State offer on Thursday. 2024 running back Arkese Parks (6’2″, 180) received an offer from Terry Smith. Parks list of offers also includes Arizona, Boston College, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Indiana, Michigan, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Pitt, Syracuse, Central Florida and South Florida.

**This morning, the Penn State staff extended an offer to 2024 4-star defensive end Booker Pickett, Jr. from Wharton High School in Tampa, Florida. Pickett is currently ranked as one of the Top 100 sophomores (No. 91) in the country by 247 Sports. Along with the Nittany Lions, Pickett holds Power 5 offers from Boston College, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Pitt, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennesse and USC.
