OL Ben Hartman Flips From Oregon, Commits to Penn State as Preferred Walk-On

Ben Hartman, a 2022 offensive lineman from Milton High School in Milton, Georgia, had a “change of plans” and, instead of going to Oregon as a preferred walk-on, has committed to Penn State.

Hartman initially committed to Oregon in February, and also had a PWO offer from Pitt.

Hartman is the second offensive lineman to commit to Penn State as a preferred walk-on in as many days, with Spring-Ford High School offensive lineman Ian Harvie doing the same Easter Sunday.

Neither Hartman or Harvie will be available for any of Penn State’s spring football season, and will instead join the team during the summer months.
