The Las Vegas Raiders have signed Nick Bowers, who played tight end at Penn State from 2015-19 and Kittanning High School in Western Pennsylvania before that, to an exclusive-rights tender, Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson reports.
An exclusive rights free agent is a player who has less than three years of league service time and is on an expired contact.

Bowers came to the Raiders as an un-drafted free agent in 2020. He didn’t make his regular-season NFL debut until Week 5 of the 2021 season against the Chicago Bears. He appeared in five games for the Raiders, being used on both offense and special teams.
At Penn State, Bowers ended his career with 17 receptions for 279 yards and five touchdowns. He recorded 214 of those yards in his redshirt senior season of 2019.
