Four-Star 2023 RB Mark Fletcher to Announce Commitment April 12 at 6:30

Friday afternoon, several commitments from Penn State football’s 2023 class sent tweets that appeared to indicate that news is on the way soon.

We don’t yet know if those tweets are referring to Mark Fletcher, but we’ll find out in the somewhat near future. Fletcher, a four-star 2023 running back, has Penn State in his final four along with Ohio State, Michigan and Miami, and will announce his commitment this coming Tuesday at 6:30 on CBS Sports HQ.

Fletcher was in Beaver Stadium for Penn State’s game against Michigan Nov. 13, and although the Nittany Lions lost to the Wolverines that day, Penn State would love to beat Michigan for Fletcher.

A product of American Heritage High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Fletcher is listed at 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds and has 23 offers total. Penn State offered him Jan. 11.

Of 247Sports’ “Crystal Ball” projections, four have Fletcher going to Ohio State and one predicts him to Miami. Penn State doesn’t yet have a running back signed for the 2023 class, but the Nittany Lions are in good hands at the position with five-star Nick Singleton and four-star Kaytron Allen both in spring practice from the class of 2022.
