Former Penn State receiver DaeSean Hamilton is signing with the Houston Texans, Bruce Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Hamilton, who played at Penn State from 2014-17, had 833 receiving yards and five touchdowns in three seasons with the Denver Broncos. Denver released him last week.

Hamilton missed the 2021 season with a torn ACL. Before the injury, suffered this past May, he was almost traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network reports that Hamilton’s deal is for one-year and includes guaranteed money.

Hamilton was a four-year starter at Penn State and is the school’s all-time leader in receptions and is second in receiving yards.
