Freshman Dalton Perry Commits to Penn State Wrestling

Penn State wrestling has added a recruit from the 2025 class.

Dalton Perry, a freshman from Central Mountain High School who won a state championship two weeks ago, has committed to Cael Sandersonโ€™s empire, which just won its ninth championship in 11 years.

Perry finished his freshman season with a 41-2 record and won the PIAA AAA title in the 126-pound weight class.

โ€œThis has been a dream of mine for many years,โ€ Perry wrote on Instagram. โ€œI look up to many guys in that room and canโ€™t weight to join them.โ€

Sanderson picked up a commitment from Ohio State transfer Will Betancourt, who is expected to compete in the 125-pound weight class.
