Walk-on Samuel Siafa Chooses Penn State

Penn State received a walk-on commitment in Samuel Siafa, a 6-4, 270-pound defensive end from Downingtown West High School in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Siafa is from the same High School as Drew Shelton, a four-star offensive tackle who signed with Penn State Dec. 15.

Siafa tweeted Friday afternoon that he would have an “announcement soon” between Penn State and Oklahoma State. In a one minute, one second video posted to his Twitter account late Monday night, Siafa revealed that he’s decided to stay closer to home and attend Penn State.

State College is less than three hours away from Downingtown. This past season, Siafa and Shelton were on a Downingtown West team that went 5-5.
