Penn State WR Jahan Dotson Moves Down Four Spots in Todd McShay’s Latest Draft Rankings

With the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl now in the books, ESPN NFL Draft guru Todd McShay has made some changes to his 2022 rankings.

One of those changes involves Penn State receiver Jahan Dotson, who fell four spots from 24th to 28th.

In his report, McShay wrote that Dotson is undersized, but his “suddenness, speed and route craftiness make him a dangerous receiver.”

“He is lightning quick in and out of his breaks, but he always seems to be in control,” McShay wrote. “His tape is smooth, and his routes are sharp. Despite a smaller catch radius, his ball skills are terrific, and he will pluck the ball on the run and/or adjust to throws with excellent body control.”

McShay has Dotson as the sixth-ranked receiver in the draft. Additionally, Arnold Ebiketie is the sixth-ranked defensive end, Jaquan Brisker is the sixth-ranked safety, Jesse Luketa is the ninth-ranked outside linebacker and Brandon Smith is the No. 10 inside linebacker. McShay also has Jordan Stout as the top-rated punter in the draft. Stout helped himself in the Senior Bowl with a punt that traveled for 75 yards.
