Penn State Offers Florida Star Athlete Jaremiah Anglin Jr., Relative of NFL Star

Jaremiah “Grady Judd” Anglin Jr., a 2023 three-star recruit out of Lake Wales High School in Lake Wales, FL has received an offer from Penn State. He has received offers from major schools such as Florida State, Louisville, UCF, Cincinnati and Florida, Pitt, and Indiana so far.

Anglin is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound free safety and wide receiver who also plays basketball for the Hornets and he is cousins with Los Angeles Chargers star safety Derwin James.

Last season, Anglin picked off five passes and recorded 83 tackles playing defense while catching 24 passes for 358 yards and three touchdowns on offense as Lake Wales went 9-3 and advanced to the second round of the 6A state playoffs.

Last month, Anglin was named the Defensive MVP of the High School National combine at the All-American Bowl practices in San Antonio.

Scouts love his ball skills and his ability to play any position in the secondary with his combination of size, speed, and versatility. Anglin could be used on offense on gadget plays from time to time and has some potential to contribute in the return game for whatever school he eventually chooses.
