On Thursday, Penn State offered a scholarship to 2023 athlete Kelton Henderson. Henderson is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver and defensive back out of Lehigh Senior High School in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Henderson has also received offers from Florida State, Illinois, Louisville, Ole Miss, Nebraska, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Coastal Carolina, Miami, LSU and Ohio State.
He played at Island Coast High School in Cape Coral, FL for the 2021 season where he was named to the Florida Press Team Honorable Mention. He caught 10 passes for 222 yards, rushed for 108 yards on 17 carries, and scored six total touchdowns while playing offense. Defensively, he recorded 20 tackles, one sack, and an interception for the Gators.

He will be transferring to Lehigh for his senior season where he will be teammates with another rising recruit in running back Richard Young who is a four-star recruit being recruited by Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State.
Henderson is a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.com and will hope to increase production for the Lightning and boost his stock at his new school in 2022 playing alongside Young.
