Former Penn State WR Justin Weller Transferring to Long Island

Former Penn State receiver Justin Weller announced Wednesday morning that he’ll be transferring to Long Island University, where he’ll use his final year of eligibility.

A two-star recruit from Nazareth Academy in  La Grange Park, Illinois, Weller was in Penn State’s program for five seasons, but only appeared in 12 games, with nine of them coming this past year.

His 10-yard reception against Idaho in the 2019 season opener was the only ball he ever caught at Penn State. Weller performed quite well in the class room, being named Academic all-Big 10 four times and making the Dean’s List in both semesters of his freshman year.
