Four-Star 2024 Quarterback D.J. Lagway Picks Up Penn State Offer

2024 four-star quarterback prospect D.J. Lagway has received an offer from Penn State University. Lagway is a dual-threat athlete from Willis High School in Willis, TX that has had had interest from schools such as Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and Notre Dame. He is also a three-sport athlete lettering in basketball and baseball for the Wildcats.

Lagway is 6-foot-3 and weighs 215 pounds that can throw the ball with a tall platform in the pocket, yet can run with speed and strength with his lower body. Scouts are already impressed with his ability to throw accuracy down the field and display the strong arm that allows him to make any throw at the college level. Although he is only a sophomore, Lagway is more advanced than most prospects in his class at having pocket awareness and thinking on his feet.

Lagway is a prospect that is trending upward that could very well become a five-star prospect by the time his career is over. If Penn State can get a commitment from him they would have a quarterback room of Drew Allar, Beau Pribula, and Lagway. That group could be the best collection of talent at quarterback the school has ever had.
