Larry Turner-Gooden, a defensive back from Mission Hills, California, who has a four-star mark on 247Sports’s composite rankings, is picking where he wants to play college football today on NBC.
He’s narrowed his school choices down to; Penn State, Colorado, Maryland, Texas and USC.
Three of 247’s four “Crystal Ball” projections have Turner-Gooden going to Texas, and the other has him going to Arizona State, a school that didn’t appear on Turner-Gooden’s top-five graphic put out by the All-American Bowl’s twitter account. So he Longhorns appear to be the best bet.

Penn State already has 23 players signed from the 2022 class. Four of James Franklin’s signees are listed as defensive backs, and a fifth, Tyrece Mills from Lackawanna Community College, has committed to transferring to Penn State and is expected to sign in February.
