On Sunday morning Arkansas defensive End Tre Williams was arrested on a DUI charge. Williams was apprehended at around 1:50 a.m. and was released on a $765 bond. Williams recorded 28 tackles and a team-high six sacks for the Razorbacks this season. It is unclear on Williams’ availability for their Outback Bowl against Penn State on Jan. 1, 2022.
Williams is a fifth-year senior who transferred this season from Missouri has had other run-ins with the law during his career. In 2018, Williams got was involved in an altercation with his then-girlfriend and was charged with a second-degree assault and was suspended from the program Williams eventually plead to a misdemeanor peace disturbance charge, and then former Missouri head coach Dave Odom brought him back to the program.
In 2019, Williams was involved in a game fight right before halftime when he was ween throwing punches at Florida Gators players and staff and was ejected for the rest of the game.
