Penn State QB Sean Clifford up for Pop Warner Award

Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford is one of six finalists for the Pop Warner College Football Award.

The award is given to the player who best serves as a role model for young student-athletes. The other five nominees are;

BYU offensive lineman James Empey

Oklahoma safety Pat Fields

Cal defensive back Elijah Hicks

Kentucky defensive end Joshua Paschal

UCLA linebacker Shea Pitts.

The award has been given out since 2010. Last year’s winner was Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book.
