Many future Division I college football players have known where they plan to play next year for a while. Some, however, haven’t yet decided. One who hasn’t decided announced that he’d be making his decision Wednesday (early signing day) at 3 p.m.
Darrius Clemons, a receiver ranked No. 172 in the country overall by 247Sports and 131 by 247Sports composite, will decide between Penn State, Oregon, Michigan, Auburn and Miami (FL).
Opinions amongst 247’s recruiting experts vary, but Penn State seems to be out of the picture. The two lead experts–Brandon Huffman and Steve Wiltfong– project Clemons to Michigan.
Of the other seven, two also have him going to Ann Arbor, four have him going to Oregon and Jason Caldwell of AuburnUndercover & ITAT has him going to Auburn. Sean Fitz of Lions247 projects Clemons to stay in his home state and play at Oregon.
Clemons is from Portland, Oregon and played at Westview High School. His highlights can be found here.
