Penn State received their first surprise of the day as a player that was previously committed to them changed his mind.
3-star offensive tackle Andre Roye Jr. (St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland) is staying home as this morning he flipped his decision from Penn State to Maryland.
Roye gave his verbal commitment to James Franklin back on September 23 but decides to play football at Maryland.
Roye (6’6″, 310) had 14 other offers including ones from Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, Michigan, NC State, Pitt, Rutgers, Tennessee and USC.
