Penn State Opens As Slim Favorite Over Michigan

After a loss to rival Michigan State last week, No. 9 Michigan righted the ship with a 29-7 win over Indiana on Saturday. The Wolverines now must overcome the odds against Penn State on the road this Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

The Nittany Lions open as a one-point favorite over Michigan on Saturday, a somewhat shocking revelation for a one-loss Michigan squad that has only stumbled against Michigan State. The over/under is set at 52.5 points.

DraftKings wasn’t able to pick a winner, setting the odds as a pick’em. With the line so close, the odds are -110 for both teams covering the spread. The over/under is set at 49 points, the over and under holding -110 odds.

FanDuel hasn’t released odds on the Penn State-Michigan game yet, but the odds will likely be similar to the previously released odds.

Penn State is riding a two-game win streak, including a 27-17 win last season, but the Lions had won four of five prior to 2019.

Michigan is 7-2 against the spread this season, failing to cover in the Michigan State loss and a close win against Rutgers earlier this season. The Lions are 6-3 this season, covering against both Ohio State and Maryland over the past two weeks.
